The value of a 'networking' organization like CIRTN comes from each member
participating. Although it is normal for people to have different levels of
involvement, the following are the minimum expectations of members of CIRTN.
 |
Members are expected to attend CIRTN meetings
as often as practical, but should attend at least one meeting every two
years (i.e., once every four meetings). As much as possible, we attempt to
schedule meetings alternating between the eastern/central and western parts
of the U.S. |
 |
Members are expected to participate in
electronic discussions using whatever technology the organization is
currently using. Today, that technology is Knowledge DNA. Since most
postings will arrive in your e-mail, you should respond to those where you
have appropriate information to share. Posting new items is an opportunity,
responding as often as possible is an expectation. |
 |
Members are expected to notify the
webmaster/secretary of any changes in their membership or status, and to
keep their own directory information current. Contact the webmaster at info@cirtn.org |
 |
Members are encouraged to invite other
appropriate individuals and organizations to join our network. Refer
prospective members through the 'Interest' form, or to the webmaster at info@cirtn.org |
